
As he continues to criticize moves made by the Trump administration, New Jersey Senator Cory Booker’s marathon speech on the Senate floor is continuing into Tuesday morning. Booker has stated his intention to continue speaking “as long as I am physically able.”
The senator, who began speaking at 7 p.m. ET on Monday, has spoken for hours, and he is doing it all while Democratic leaders in Washington are facing pressure from their base to do more against Trump. The Democratic leadership team in the Senate includes Booker.
