At last, Brandy and Monica will embark on a joint tour. The Boy Is Mine Tour, the first time the two R&B legends will co-headline a tour, was formally announced on CBS Mornings. The 24-city run, which is produced by Black Promoters Collective, begins on October 16 and ends on December 7.
More than 20 years have gone into creating this moment. They won a Grammy for their 1998 duet “The Boy Is Mine,” which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 13 weeks. For R&B, it became a cultural reset, and now, with a live performance that fans have been anticipating for years, they are bringing that energy to the stage.
