“Straw,” the most recent project to emerge under Tyler Perry’s deal with the Netflix streaming service, won the weekend. Taraji P. Henson plays Janiyah, a struggling single mother who reaches her breaking point after a string of tragic occurrences make it much harder to care for her ailing kid, in Perry’s heartbreaking drama.
