Later this month, Will Smith will release his first album in 20 years.
“Been working on this project for a minute and I’m itchin’ to get it out to y’all,” he wrote on Instagram, announcing the release date of the album Based on a True Story as March 28.
Smith has released a list of songs for his upcoming project, which include collaborations with Obanga, Jac Ross, and Teyana Taylor. The opening track also included a mention of Smith’s longtime friend and collaborator, DJ Jazzy Jeff, with whom he co-wrote the 1991 hit song “Summertime.”
