For extremely unsportsmanlike behavior captured on tape, DeMarcus Cousins receives a severe punishment from his basketball team.
After an altercation with multiple supporters on Monday night (June 9), the former NBA player’s contract with a Puerto Rican basketball league was terminated.
Cousins is seen shouting with a basketball game fan in the front row during the heated altercation. The fan was giving him the finger, so cousins first grabbed his crotch and then his arm.
Cousins has apologized for an altercation he recently had with a fan in the stands during a game which led to his suspension.
“I want to apologize to the fans of Puerto Rico for my actions,” Cousins said on Thursday via Instagram. “I have so much love and respect for the island.”
