According to sources who spoke to ESPN on Sunday, the Phoenix Suns have reached an agreement on a blockbuster trade that will send 15-time NBA All-Star Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the 10th overall choice in this year’s lottery, and five second-round picks.
“Being part of the Houston Rockets, I’m looking forward to it,” Durant told Kay Adams on Sunday. “Crazy, crazy last couple weeks, but I’m glad it’s over with.”
“They had a great season last year,” Durant told Adams about the Rockets. “Love their leadership. I felt like I’d be a good addition.”
